Hey, everyone I thought I would start out my review of anime’s with a good one or at least I believe it is a good one. Gundam Wing was originally released America in the mid. 90’s. The premise is that mankind has colonized space and on earth the nations formed the Unified Earth Sphere Alliance. This Alliance oppresses the colonies with large military powers. With the Colonies wanting to be a free nation they in secret created operation meteor. Where scientists plan revenge against the powerful OZ after the assassination of their once leader Heero Yuy. The operation involves 5 Gundams and their Pilots, Heero Yuy, Duo Maxwell, Trowa Barton, Quatre Raberba Winner, and Chang Wufei. Their mission is to use their Gundams created by the former OZ scientists and attack OZ directly. This was all set in motion to free the colonies from the Earths Military and government control.
The Gundam Series that started it all
This is the Gundam Series that started it all for me and i believe alot of people that were born late 80s early 90s would remember it coming on Toonami in the afternoons after DBZ. I find it to be very easy to watch and exciting all at the same time with not a really hard plot to follow. Now im not going to say that this is what Gundam is because there are some great Gundam shows out there this is just the one that i happen to love the most and started watching first. Now if you were to get into a Gundam Series now i would probably recommend something along the lines of Gundam 00 or really Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny. They really show how the franchise has expanded out and grown with the fans.
