About NerdBlocks — Our Story & Mission

Welcome to NerdBlocks.org — where gaming history meets a thriving modern community.

NerdBlocks has a rich history that goes back further than the name itself. It all started with DEmpires, a dedicated forum built around the iconic game Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. As the gaming landscape evolved and players began migrating toward MMORPGs, we evolved with them — rebranding as RPG-Net.Net, The Real Gaming Network.

Over the next five years, RPG-Net.Net grew beyond its MMORPG roots. We expanded into other MMO genres, including MMOFPS titles like Combat Arms, where we proudly sponsored the 2nd-ranked competitive clan in the entire US, supporting them through multiple tournaments and providing prizes. It was a testament to what a passionate gaming community could accomplish together.

As hacks and cheaters began to erode the communities around many of these games, we took it as an opportunity to level up. We transformed once again — this time into Realgamers, and ultimately into what you see today: NerdBlocks.org.

Today, NerdBlocks is more than just a gaming site. We are a mature, welcoming community for real gamers — casual players, hardcore competitors, and everything in between. Our goal is simple: to provide top-tier entertainment, honest coverage, and a friendly space where every kind of gamer feels at home. Whether you’re here for the news, the forums, the store, or just to connect with fellow nerds — you belong here.
