Introducing Vanguard: Earn XP, Rank Up, and Unlock Badges on Nerd Blocks

The Nerd Blocks community just leveled up — literally. Say hello to Vanguard, our new XP, rank, and badge system built right into the forum.

Every time you post a topic, drop a reply, get a like, get an upvote, or land an accepted answer, you earn Vanguard XP. Vote in a hype poll, upvote a comment on the blog, or save an article to your reading list and you will pick up a little extra too.

How it works:

• Earn XP from real activity across the forum and the blog — no grinding required, just be part of the community
• Climb through six ranks: Recruit, Initiate, Operative, Vanguard, Elite Vanguard, and Vanguard Legend
• Unlock badges for milestones like your first post, being a regular in the discussions, and becoming a true community pillar
• Hit Vanguard rank (750 XP) or higher and you will pick up a distinctive Vanguard badge on the forum itself
• Check the leaderboard to see who is leading the pack
